Jette B - Singer/Songwriter
After rediscovering a ukulele gifted to her when she was a toddler, then 8-year old Portland, OR born Jette B picked it up and wouldn’t set it down. This musical beginning led her to the guitar, where she began her journey singing American rock classic cover songs and popular latin hits to patrons in local restaurants and talent shows in a sleepy Mexican fishing town where she spent her formative years, eventually writing her first full song at the age of 10.
The now 12-year-old, currently based in Vancouver, WA, performs popular songs at farmer's markets, is part of a emerging rock band Jette and the Monkeys and writes music that dives deep into the complicated, yet light-hearted world of being a young person navigating a multi-dimensional life.
